Khan Academy

Khan Academy is an American non-profit educational organization created in 2008 by Sal Khan, intending to create a set of online tools that help educate students. The organization produces short lessons in the form of videos, and its website also includes supplementary practice exercises and materials for educators.

Khan Academy started when its founder, Sal Khan, began tutoring his cousin at his home in Pakistan. Khan was working as a financial analyst at the time. The videos were made on a virtual chalkboard with voice-over narrations, and he used them to illustrate various mathematical ideas to his cousin. He began publishing these courses on YouTube as a result of his success.

Today, Khan Academy is one of the best resources for most academic disciplines. Khan Academy is a free online learning site that offers course material in various areas such as math, science, art history, and others. There are videos, readings, and interactive components in the lessons. They are organized to allow you to start with any subject and gradually increase your knowledge.
