Proof is about mathematical proof. A daughter of a brilliant mathematical mind who loses his sanity at a late age tries to come to grips with her possible inheritance: his insanity. The movie creates a parallel connection between mathematics and the messiness of life and then asks, “Once the “great mind” of our genius is gone, then who are we?”
I wish those characters were real and I had a chance to have coffee with them.
