Albert Einstein is well-known for formulating his math equation, E=mc^2, which states that energy and mass are equivalent. However, his most fundamental contribution to science was the development of his general relativity equation. By considering the effects of gravity on mass and space in combination with time, general relativity demonstrated that our physical laws also apply to objects moving at incredibly high speeds.
