Z Proportions

The Grolier Club is a private club and society of bibliophiles in New York City. It was founded in January 1884, and it is the oldest existing bibliophilic club in North America. Becca Hirsbrunner photographed this fabulously constructed letter, Z proportions, at The Grolier Club. Interestingly, every element but the diagonal bar can be rationalized in this way.
