In the book, Paterson emphasizes that coin collecting shouldn’t be to make a quick buck but rather to pursue something that interests you. I appreciated that he focused on the love of the hobby rather than making a profit.
Unfortunately, the book’s presentation leaves much to be desired. The text features convoluted sentences with unnecessary words and often disjointed thoughts. It’s as if the author wrote it quickly and didn’t take the time to polish the text. Still, the book is a useful resource for beginners to get started with coin collecting.
